Rugby is one of Marie’s greatest life passions. With her rugby career lasting more than 15 years, she feels privileged to have been able to represent her city, province and even her country, proudly. A lower back injury ended her career in 2012, but her passion and love for the game will never die.
Crystal grew up in a predominantly agricultural community in Western Quebec, that she still has strong ties to today. After post-secondary graduation Crystal spent time with the federal government practicing social work and law enforcement. This eventually led to a career shift where she fell into a role within the staffing industry, now 10 years later the rest is history. She has diligently worked her way up the ranks from Operations Support to Recruitment. She specializes in the recruitment of Administration, Accounting Operations and Property Management. Crystal will always win the award for the most interesting and entertaining real life stories and experiences, stemming from everyday life, to her farm and horse show adventures which take her around the globe. They are a true favourite in the Ottawa office.
Crystal and her family pursue their passion of Clydesdale Horses (yes, the iconic “Budweiser Horses”). Often her time away from work is referred as “showcation”, 9 times out of 10 it is horse related and involves early mornings and late nights. This is not what many people would consider R&R.
Crystal enjoys spending as much time as possible with her many nieces and nephews, whom share the same love for agriculture and exhibiting horses. She and her family travel across Canada and the United States to world class competitions with their 6 horse hitch of Clydesdales. Born and raised in Montreal, Adam recently completed his second year at Concordia University in the Political Science Co-Op Program. Julia grew up in Ottawa, spending much of her childhood at an equestrian farm in Wendover, Ontario. She spent her twenties in the States, specializing in company development and client management. Julia returned to Canada in 2019, finishing her degree in Psychology from Carleton University with her undergraduate project in Human Factor and Organizational Ergonomics of the workplace system.
For the last year and a half, Julia has been working in Marketing and Communications for RiM, gaining valuable industry knowledge; transitioning to a Recruitment Consultant in 2022. Born and raised in Ottawa, Emily has a passion for lifelong learning and prides herself in providing the ultimate customer experience for job seekers and clients. Emily graduated from Carleton University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Sexuality Studies in 2016. Combining her love for education and her people oriented personality with her previous management and customer service experience has led her to the wonderful world of Human Resources. In 2021, Emily completed the Human Resources Graduate Certificate program at Algonquin College and has now begun a career in recruiting where she can leverage her enthusiasm and compassion.

Tajwar Wain is a Talent Sourcer at Recruiting in Motion. She is thrilled to be one of the newest members of the growing team. Having recently migrated from Pakistan, thousands of miles away from family, Ottawa is Tajwar’s new home. Her passion is to help people achieve the best versions of themselves. In pursuit of this passion, soon after her BBA from Lahore School of Economics, Tajwar started her first entrepreneurial venture, running a day-care, which she managed to expand into a preschool, in less than a year. The day-care aimed to relieve the academic professionals from their child-care responsibilities, so they can be out in the field, disseminating knowledge and preparing the workforce of the future. To expand her portfolio, Tajwar also pursued and completed her MBA in Finance and Human Resources and has worked in public affairs and communications, as well. Carlos is a Senior Recruitment Consultant with Recruiting in Motion – Ottawa. Carlos comes from a Hispanic background, immigrating to Canada and settling in Ottawa during his high school years. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Integrated Science degree at Carleton University.
Starting his career as a Recruitment Specialist in 2007, Carlos helped the company grow their sales force across Canada and the US. Within a short period, he was promoted to Assistant Manager and then Manager of the Centralized Recruitment department, a position he held until the company closed.
Carlos’ next opportunity was as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist/HR Generalist with a global Software Company. His role included sourcing and recruiting candidates internationally for various roles. Carlos specializes in IT recruitment of developers, system implementation experts, project managers, technical support specialists, functional consultants, pre-sales consultants, and sales account managers.
Carlos is easy-going, friendly, loves to work with people and delivers positive results. He gets a lot of satisfaction seeing his candidates get their employment offers, starting the job, and having long successful careers within the organization.

Carlos loves spending his free time surrounded by family and friends, socializing, sharing a good meal and wine, or enjoying a good BBQ during the summer.
Carlos is also an avid sports follower, especially soccer; he is a big fan of Real Madrid, Brazil, Spain, and Argentina.
Funny story. While in high school and new to Canada, Carlos was offered a try out for the high school Football Team. Not realizing Canadian Football isn’t soccer, he showed up to the practice in his soccer gear! Never experiencing an NFL or CFL game, Carlos quickly adapted to the new rules and made the school team a starting Cornerback!
Michaela is a Recruitment Consultant for Recruiting in Motion’s Ottawa office. She grew up in the East end of Ottawa and spent most of her childhood on a basketball court.
Michaela is a Nipissing University graduate with a Double Major in Social Welfare & Child and Family Studies. After graduating from post-secondary, Michaela worked in the administrative space for a few years. She has now transitioned into the staffing industry where she specializes in the recruitment of Administration, Property Management, Human Resources and Marketing.
She has spent majority of her life playing elite level basketball. After playing at the University level, she decided to shift her love for the game into a coaching role where she has been Assistant Coaching a U16 boys’ team with the Gloucester Cumberland Basketball Association. She also spends her weekends as a Weekend Manager working at the Ronald McDonald House where she gets to create special relationships with several different families and interact with children of all ages.

– Went to Arusha, Tanzania for several weeks to volunteer teaching at an elementary school

Brad is a recruitment consultant for Recruiting in Motion’s Ottawa office. Brad’s roots are in Glengarry county an hour East of Ottawa. He began his journey in the employment industry working for a branch of Employment Ontario in a business development capacity. Since joining RIM, Brad has further developed his expertise in Finance & Accounting recruitment, as well as Human Resources, and Engineering. Brad spends his time understanding what aspects of employment are most important to individual job-seekers, including roles and responsibilities, cultural fit, and opportunities for advancement, among others.

After thoroughly enjoying the Irish/Scottish lifestyle and traveling as much of Europe as she could, Pauline returned home and took that passion for meeting people and applied it to her newfound career as a Technical Recruiter in 2013.
Since then, Pauline has applied her love for helping people and customer service to her job. Her primary focus in the last 9 years has been recruiting variety of IT related technical and functional consulting roles across the entire IT portfolio. Pauline looks to leverage her experience in IT recruitment, and exceptional interpersonal skills, to broaden her network across the Marketing, Communications, and Human Resources industries, while maintaining her pulse on Ottawa’s technology sector. When Andrew first arrived in BC in 1988 he got himself a dual mountain ski pass for Whistler / Blackcomb and quickly landed himself the nickname Checkers amongst the locals! Reason being is whenever he took on a Black Diamond bump run, he often suffered a major crash and would report seeing Checkers to the medics as opposed to Stars! Now when he walks down Whistler Village some 30 years later, he still has old contacts shouting out to him as Checkers!
Andrew loves his motorcycles and the open road. He spends about 8 months of the year riding his Harley Davidson Road Glide as his regular commuter from Langley to Downtown Vancouver. His clients love it when he shows up on his HOG for meetings!
