Carlos is a Senior Recruitment Consultant with Recruiting in Motion – Ottawa. Carlos comes from a Hispanic background, immigrating to Canada and settling in Ottawa during his high school years. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Integrated Science degree at Carleton University.
Starting his career as a Recruitment Specialist in 2007, Carlos helped the company grow their sales force across Canada and the US. Within a short period, he was promoted to Assistant Manager and then Manager of the Centralized Recruitment department, a position he held until the company closed.
Carlosâ next opportunity was as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist/HR Generalist with a global Software Company. Michaela is a Nipissing University graduate with a Double Major in Social Welfare & Child and Family Studies. After graduating from post-secondary, Michaela worked in the administrative space for a few years. She has now transitioned into the staffing industry where she specializes in the recruitment of Administration, Property Management, Human Resources and Marketing.
She has spent majority of her life playing elite level basketball. After playing at the University level, she decided to shift her love for the game into a coaching role where she has been Assistant Coaching a U16 boysâ team with the Gloucester Cumberland Basketball Association. She also spends her weekends as a Weekend Manager working at the Ronald McDonald House where she gets to create special relationships with several different families and interact with children of all ages.

Now when he walks down Whistler Village some 30 years later, he still has old contacts shouting out to him as Checkers!
